So the first part of sunday started out as a free day. We (Nora, Chris, Lydia and I) went to the catcombs. Super far into the ground, super creepy and super full of bones. Definitely worth the 4€ student admission.
After that our group atrempted to visit the petit palais and grand palais. That didn't go quite as planned because the things we went to see were quite closed. We then went through to the national army museum I believe where napoleon's tomb is. Its not over the top or anything.
After that we went to the Rodin museum which had some beautiful gardens and even better rasberry sorbet. After we walked under the eiffel tower to the cité architecture museum. Lots of cool casts of classical architecture and some great modern architecture exhibits too.
After that Nick and I got some of our studio work done in Monmarte and I had tiaramissou ice cream... why isnt it everywhere. Ended the day with cards and quite a few people in our room.
Today we visited two parks, then it started raining quite hard. So we took a long lunch at the hotel whuch turned into studio time and a nap. Much needed rest. Tomorrow is Le Corbusier. Very excited for that.
catacombs look terrifying . Eiffel tower must be really awesome in person
