Paris

Had to get up super early on monday morning to get to paris. The train went under the English channel to France and took 2 and a half hours from London to Paris. Our hotel is apartment style (we have a kitchenette but to even call it that is generous). Its in Monmarte.

Our first day in Paris was endless walking. We walked from the Louvre all the way to the Arc de Triomphe. Then the the effeil tower. Map that on google maps and tell me you wouldn't be tired. But it was okay the walk was very pretty.

Second day in Paris was all about the cathedrals.  We saw Ste. Dennis, then Notre Dame, Ste. Chappelle. Notre dame was crowded beyond belief, all of them were gorgeous. We also held studio today which was odd as it was in the courtyard of the hotel. Then went took the Funicular right by our hotel to get some great views of paris.

Today we say the most beautiful gothic cathedral I have ever been to in Chartres.
It was massive and mainly built in the 13th century. After Chartres was versailles. This is the extremely overwhelming palace that was built for French aristocracy and the king mainly Louis XIV. By palace I mean basically a city with ENOURMOUS gardens all so the aristocracy didn't have to live in Paris.

Pictures to follow.
